DAY 1 - CAIRO / ASWAN - KOM OMBO: Wednesday - Saturday and Friday (LD)
Please advise the name of your hotel in Cairo. Transfer is included from your hotel to the airport.
Domestic air fare between Cairo and the cruise is included, issued and delivered in Cairo .We have several vessels available , embarkation on Wednesdays & Fridays , upon arrival our local rep will assist with you transfer from the airport and proceed visit the Aswan High Dam, the red granite quarries of the ancient pharaohs, and the temples of Philae, reconstructed on an island in the middle of the Nile . Then on to your Nile cruise to check-in in time for an onboard lunch, welcome fruit basket awaits you in your cabin with our compliments , we set sail for Kom Ombo, where we explore the twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek. We continue our cruise to Edfu, where we dock for the night.

DAY 2 - EDFU - LUXOR Thursday (BLD)
We board horse-drawn carriages (or motor vans) for the ride to Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples on the Nile. After lunch , we continue our cruise down the Nile to Luxor. Afternoon tea is served on the sun -deck. Dinner and entertainment on board. In the evening we have included Karnak Sound and Light show , please bring a jacket and a flash light .

DAY 3 - LUXOR - THEBES Friday (BLD)
After breakfast on board your Nile cruise , we'll continue on to Luxor's west bank to get a totally different perspective on ancient Egyptian life, at the ancient workers' settlement of Deir el-Medinah. While most of the imposing stone monuments and sites of Egypt honor the lives and after-lives of royalty, Deir el-Medinah gives us unique and surprising insights into the ordinary citizens who constructed and decorated the tombs.

Here we'll see the excavated homes shared by laborers with their domestic animals. These quarters were surprisingly large, with three good-sized rooms, courtyard, kitchen, and even storage cellars. While ancient Egypt might not have been a workers' paradise, we'll see that artisans and builders were highly regarded in their community.

Today's tour include as well a visit to the Valley of the Kings including Tut-Ank-Amon's tomb , temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, and Colossi of Memnon, returning to our Nile cruiser for lunch. Following lunch aboard, we visit the great Temple of Luxor, and the gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, returning to our vessel in time for tea, in the evening your guide will call on you for a horse-drawn carriage ride throughout Luxor souks and water front.

DAY 4 - LUXOR - KARNAK Saturday (cB)
After breakfast we check out . We tour the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak , the "mother" of all temples, and the smaller yet charming Temple of Luxor. Transfer is included back to the airport . Domestic air fare is included as well back to Cairo .
In Cairo , we meet you at the airport & escort you back to your hotel or assist with your transfer to another connecting international flight. End of our service - Bon Voyage ! Itinerary is subject to change without notice.

Do we get sea sickness while sailing the Nile ?
This is river sailing, so do not expect any waves , no rough seas ! Your Nile cruises is actually a floating hotel that moves from place to place along the Nile. Actual cruising times are short and pleasant.

What to Pack:
Most of the year look forward to warm, even hot weather in Luxor & Aswan, morning & evenings are cooler. For Shore excursions, we suggest comfortable cotton & natural fabric lightweight clothing. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
