DAY 1 - CAIRO , SLEEPER TRAIN , Tuesday & Thursday (D)
Please advise the name of your hotel in Cairo. Evening transfer is included ( private car/driver) from your hotel to Cairo Railway Station . Sleeper train ticket between Cairo & the cruise is included, issued and delivered in Cairo . Overnight on board the sleeper train, private compartment, upper and lower berth dinner and breakfast included on board. The tracks are not smooth enough to allow for a good night sleep . Your private compartment doesn't have private bath. There is one toilet at each end of each train car .

DAY 2 - ASWAN and KOM OMBO Wednesday & Fridays (BLD)
We have several vessels available , embarkation on Wednesdays & Fridays .
Breakfast is served on board the sleeper train. Upon arrival in Aswan or Luxor, our local rep. will be waiting with a sign in your name , and assist with your transfer which is always included from the the train station, to your Nile cruiser , where complimentary fruit basket awaits you in your cabin.
Visit the Aswan High Dam, the red granite quarries of the ancient pharaohs, the Nubian Museum, and the temples of Philae, reconstructed on an island in the middle of the Nile . After a shipboard lunch, we set sail for Kom Ombo, where we explore the twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek. We continue our cruise to Edfu, where we dock for the night.

DAY 3 - EDFU and LUXOR Thursday (cBLD)
We board horse-drawn carriages (or motor vans) for the ride to Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples on the Nile. After lunch , we continue our cruise down the Nile to Luxor. Afternoon tea is served on the sun -deck. Dinner & entertainment on board.

DAY 4 - LUXOR and THEBES Friday (BLD)
Today we tour the Valley of the Kings, including King Tut's Tomb , Valley of the Queens, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple of El Deir El Bahari , and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch we tour Luxor Museum. In the evening your guide will call on you for a horse-drawn carriage ride throughout Luxor souks and water front .
Afternoon tea is served daily on deck. Dinner and folk dance show on board.

DAY 5 - LUXOR and KARNAK - Saturday (B)
Breakfast on board - Check-out . We tour the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak , the "mother" of all temples, and the smaller yet charming Temple of Luxor, then off to the airport, fly back to Cairo . Air ticket is included in economy class , ticket , issued and delivered to you in cairo .In Cairo our local rep will meet you and assist with your transfer back to your hotel, or connecting flight to Sharm El Sheikh or Europe / USA.

Modest Wagon-Lits : Sleeper overnight train between Cairo and Upper Egypt -Club Car

Sleeper overnight train leaves Cairo 07:30 PM. Private double or single compartments. Each train car has two bathrooms, one at each end of the car. Dinner & breakfast served on board. Upper & lower berth. Air conditioned. Club car for drinks & meeting other fellow passengers from all over the world.

Boarding the cruise is from either Luxor or Aswan, depending on the availability at the time of booking.

What to Pack:
Most of the year look forward to warm, even hot weather in Luxor & Aswan, morning & evenings are cooler. For Shore excursions, we suggest comfortable cotton & natural fabric lightweight clothing. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.

Clothing on Board:
Lightweight comfortable & casual clothing. Swimsuits, sun hat. Dining room dress code is casual for breakfast & lunch, but smart casual for dinner. All ships are fully air conditioned
