DAY
4 - AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – JAIPUR
Following
breakfast, you will proceed to the pink city of Jaipur (260 kms / 7
hours approx. including stop at Fatehpur Sikri) en route visiting Akbar’s
abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Mughal emperor Akbar in
1571 in honour of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti, it was the Mughal
capital for 14 years after which it was abandoned due to paucity of
water. It is made of red sandstone and combines influences from both
Hindu and Mughal architecture. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will check
into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a lecture on Rajasthan’s
culture and history by a historian. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.
Day
5 - Jaipur - The
Oberoi Rajvilas and Spa .
Enjoy an early morning " Yoga Session" .
After breakfast, you will proceed on a guided tour of Amer Fort. En
route, enjoy a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied
wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with
latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient
capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amer Fort, situated on a ridge just
outside Jaipur city.
At the foot of the hill you will board jeeps to transfer you up to the
main gate. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for
the excellence of its design and decoration.
The
afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy a rejuvenating Spa therapy
(On your own) at The Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree located
in a restored Rajasthani mansion.
Treat your body to pampering and relaxation inspired by a royal era.
Travel back in time as you enter the beautifully appointed spa suites
where the healing hands of trained therapists promise to revive the
body. Get revitalized with personalized holistic treatments drawn from
Eastern and Western techniques. Overnight
at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.

DAY 6 - JAIPUR
Following breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Pink City, an ‘abode
of rajahs’. The highlights of the tour include a visit to the
City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani
and Mughal styles. An overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens
and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways, the Palace also
houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and
armoury. Carry onwards to the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory,
a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja
Jai Singh in the 18th century.
The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.

Day
7 - JAIPUR – DELHI
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, following which, you will proceed
on drive to Delhi (260 km / 6 hours approx).
Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. A tour of Delhi will provide you with much to see and admire, from Mughal monuments to modern malls, from traditional arts and crafts to trendy fashion shows, from skyscrapers to parks and gardens. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi’.
DAY
8 - DEPARTURE DELHI
Today,
bid farewell to India, as your 'Golden Triangle' tour comes to an end.
You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight
back home. If you wish to extend your holiday, we
definitely recommend that you avail our special Mashobra package.
