DAY 1 - AMMAN Wednesday (D)

Our staff greets you at Amman International Airport, or at your international border crossing point, and escorts you to your hotel in Amman. The city is yours to explore as you like for the rest of the day. Dinner is included at your hotel

DAY 2 - MADABA, KERAK & PETRA Thursday (BLD)

Guide escorts the tour at all times from Amman . We drive south along the King's Highway, an ancient caravan route, to Madaba to visit the church containing the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Continuing to Mount Nebo, we enjoy the panoramic view of the Promised Land the way Moses saw it for the first time. Farther on, at Kerak, we tour the ruins of its romantic Crusaders' castle of Renaud de Chatillon, one of a line which stretched from Aqaba to Turkey. Lunch is included enroute . Finally, we arrive in Petra, and settle in at our hotel, where dinner and comfortable beds await you .

DAY 3 - PETRA Friday (BD)

Today the fabulous Nabatean city of Petra awaits us. Made famous in the Indiana Jones movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark," its ancient temples, tombs and striking Khazneh (Treasury) were hewn right from the pink and violet sandstone. We spend a full day here, and another night.

DAY 4 - WADI RUM & AMMAN Saturday (BD)

We board four-wheel-drive vehicles for an expedition to Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon" where T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia") organized Arab resistance to Ottoman rule during World War I. After our visit, we return to Amman.

DAY 5 - Istanbul Sunday (BL)

Breakfast. Check-out . We drive back to Amman Airport .Air fare is included to Istanbul, in economy class , tax included , Jordanian departure tax is included in our rate.

DAY 6 -- ISTANBUL (BLD)

We dive right into this fascinating city with visits to its top sights: Topkapi, the palace of the Sultans for centuries; Hagia Sophia, the greatest church in Christendom for a thousand years; the Blue Mosque, with its exquisite blue tiles; the Byzantine Hippodrome, scene of chariot races and gladiator combat; and the eerie Sunken Palace cistern beneath it. 

Then a drive through modern neighborhoods brings us to the ancient city walls and the Kariye Museum (Chora Church), filled with brilliant Byzantine mosaics. Finally, we penetrate the labyrinth of the Grand Bazaar for a shopping spree. Breakfast , Lunch, Dinner

DAY 7 -- ISTANBUL (BL)

After  breakfast we board a ferryboat and cruise northward along the Bosphorus, the  strait which separates Europe and Asia. Sipping Turkish coffee or tea. Disembarking at  a fishing village, we enjoy  a seafood lunch at a local restaurant, then  drive south to  go on a shopping spree  at the labyrinth of the  Grand Bazaar. In the  evening,  (Optional  : Istanbul by Night) :we go out for dinner with live music and belly dancing. Breakfast , Lunch.

DAY 8 -- DEPARTURE (B)

We escort you to the airport for your flight home. Breakfast
