DAY 1 - USA/CAIRO Sunday

Your wide-body jet departs the USA bound for Cairo. Overnight across the Atlantic.

DAY 2 - CAIRO Monday

Upon arrival in Cairo , we escort you to your comfortable hotel. Egyptian  visa is included &  issued upon arrival at Cairo Airport , for American & Japanese citizens, passports must be valid for 6 month at least upon arrival.

DAY 3 - CAIRO Tuesday (cBLD)

Today we see Cairo's major sights: the Egyptian Museum, Saladin's Citadel, and the Alabaster Mosque, after lunch at a local restaurant we'll

enjoy a walking tour through the 12th century famous district of Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Evening welcome dinner & folk show.

DAY 4 - CAIRO Wednesday (cBLD)

We tour Old Cairo: the Coptic museum, Church of Abu Sarga, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, where we will visit the spot at which, tradition says, Moses was found by the banks

of the Nile. After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit the Islamic Art Museum to wonder at its marvels of architecture and design. Dinner is included at the hotel.

DAY 5 - Alexandria Thursday (BL)

Today we take the first Express , first class air conditioned train heading for Alexandria, we tour the Museum, Kayet Bey Fortress, the

Roman Amphitheater, the Catacombs as well as the Crown Jewels Museum before we head back for Cairo. Will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive Cairo and yoru hotel.

DAY 6 - DAHSHOUR Friday (cBLD)

A half-day tour takes us to Dahshour (see box) the newly-opened pyramid field south of Cairo. We visit the great pyramid of Senfru, father of Cheops, and other structures. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner included at the hotel.

DAY 7 - LUXOR & KARNAK Saturday (cBLD)

An early flight takes us to Luxor, where we settle in aboard our Nile cruiser. 
Enjoy a  PRIVATE NILE CRUISE at no additional charge (Minimum 4 guests required)
Following lunch aboard, we visit the great Temple of Luxor, and the gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, returning to our vessel in time for tea. Complimentarily galabya awaits you on board.

DAY 8 - VALLEY OF THE KINGS Sunday (bBLD)

We tour the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, and Colossi of Memnon, returning to our Nile cruiser for lunch. In the afternoon, do as you like: Luxor's folksy bazaar awaits you.

DAY 9 - ESNA & EDFU Monday (bBLD)

We cruise to Esna during the night and pass through the locks. After breakfast we cruise to Edfu and board horse-drawn carriages to get to the fine Temple of Horus. In the evening, we have a jolly galabia party.

DAY 10 - KOM OMBO & ASWAN Tuesday (bBLD)

We explore Kom Ombo's twin Temples of Haroeris, the sun god, and Sobek, the crocodile god, before cruising south to Aswan. After lunch aboard, we board a graceful felucca for a cruise among the Nile islands, join us if you wish on a complimentarily short camel caravan to a nearby Nubian Village for tea with the locals.

DAY 11 - ABU SIMBEL/ASWAN & CAIRO Wednesday (cBD)

The mighty Aswan dams are our first goal this morning, followed by a trip by motor launch to the Philae temples. Back on land, we visit an ancient Pharaonic red granite quarry before flying south to Abu Simbel, tour the mighty Temples of Ramses the Great & Queen Nefertari before flying back to Aswan , and returning to Cairo by plane. Complimentary fruit basket (Hotel room). Dinner included at the hotel.

DAY 12 - CAIRO Thursday (cBL)

In the morning, we visit the majestic pyramids of Giza and the timeless Sphinx. The afternoon is free for shopping or café-sitting. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Afternoon tour of the Camel Market in Imbaba.

DAY 13 - CAIRO Friday (cBLD)

Today we see the Islamic Museum, Ibn Tulun Mosque and Gayer-Anderson House, actually a pair of traditional Arab houses built in 1540 and 1630. After lunch, we visit Bab an-Nasr, a great gate in the old city walls. In the evening, we return to the Pyramids for an awe-inspiring sound-and-light show. Evening Farewell dinner & show

DAY 14 - DEPARTURE Saturday (cB)

Our staff escorts you to the airport for your flight home. Bon Voyage
