Encounter your African
heritage, not only in Ghana, Senegal, but yes, in Egypt.
Sometimes passed by in the quest for roots, Egypt flows from the
heart of Africa, nourished not only by the waters of the Nile, but also
by the peoples and cultures of its continent. Egypt’s traditional
borders stretch far to the south, into the heart of the continent. The Nubians,
so evidently African, built the great temples of Luxor and Abu Simbel. Tall
and mighty, they embodied the ideals of the kingdom in the personal guard
of the Pharaohs and the presidential guard of today. Cast a glance at the
peoples of Egypt, and you’ll see Africa, not only in Nubia, but in
every walk of life, up to the presidency of Anwar Sadat.
Don’t overlook the obvious! You’ll be welcomed in Egypt, and
you’ll feel at home, as part of the African family.
