DAY 1 - CAIRO Sat

Our staff meets you at the airport, helps with customs and immigration formalities, and escorts you to your hotel. Complimentarily visa fee , issued upon arrival at Cairo Airport, for American or Japanese citizens, passport must be valid at least for 6 month upon arrival.

DAY 2 - CAIRO (cBL) Sun 

Today, we'll explore the wonders of the Egyptian Museum, with its treasures of the ancient pharaohs: statuary, precious stones and metals. Travellers have long come to Cairo just to gaze on these sights, but our day has just started. We'll motor to the edge of Cairo, to the mysterious Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. Then it's onward to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

DAY 3- CAIRO SLEEPER (cBLD) Mon

Full day at leisure. Breakfast and lunch are included at the hotel.
Room is kept until it is time for your transfer .  Meet   at the hotel in the evening for the  transfer to Cairo Railway Station, we depart for Aswan aboard the Nile Express sleeper train. Dinner is served in your compartment.

DAY 4- ASWAN  (cB) Tue 

After breakfast on board, the train arrives in Aswan, where we'll settle you into your hotel. During the train ride, you will have seen feluccas sailing the Nile. Now we'll experience Egypt at its most authentic, as we sail in one of these graceful craft. Then its siesta time by the pool. 

DAY 5- ASWAN  (cB) Wed
After breakfast , we'll visit the dams at Aswan, including the High Dam, a modern wonder in this ancient land. At the ancient granite quarry, we'll see an obelisk left unfinished, then board a launch on Lake Nasser to visit the Temples of Philae, rescued from rising waters. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 6- EDFU & KOM OMBO / LUXOR  (cBL) Thu

Proceed by car to Luxor. Visiting enroute Edfu & Kom Ombo temples. Lunch box will be provided.
Late afternoon arrival at Luxor and your hotel. 

DAY 7 - LUXOR    (cB) Fri 
Cross the Nile to the west bank to view an array of ancient splendors: the tomb chambers of the Valley of the Kings; the imposing tomb-temple of Queen Hatshepsut ; and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon we visit the great Temple of Luxor, and the gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak.

DAY 8 - CAIRO  (cB) Sat 

Check out from our hotel. Fly back to Cairo and transfer to your Hotel

DAY 9 - CAIRO - Sun (B)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Full day at leisure .
You'll make your own program for your last full day in Cairo. Perhaps you'll do some shopping at the fabulous Khan El-Khalili bazaar, or return to the fabulous Pyramids, or take an optional tour, or spend the day with new friends. Don't miss your chance to mingle with the crowds, the peddlers, and the street entertainers who give life to Cairo!

DAY 10- DEPARTURE (cB) Mon 

After breakfast, we escort you to the airport ,  to board your flight back to the USA.
